A day as a frontend developer

  • You are keen to define, design, build, test and deploy innovative web applications

  • You translate designs into solid, responsive and accessible user interfaces, always keeping feasibility and the needs of our customers and their users in mind

  • You write clean, maintainable and well-tested frontend code and care about the performance and quality of the solutions you build

  • You proactively identify potential technical challenges and pitfalls, communicate them early and help the team find pragmatic solutions

  • You like to familiarise yourself with our technology stack (CI/CD, Docker, etc.) and maintain our applications

  • You appreciate working in a self-organised team together with Designers, UX-Creators, Backend Developers, Product Owners and Scrum Masters

  • You are eager to join the Wombats Circle, a dedicated team of web enthusiasts who want to create appealing websites that add value and satisfaction for our customers and their users

Your profile as a frontend developer

  • You have experience with Angular, Vue.js or similar frameworks and the implementation of frontend applications and components with modern tooling

  • You enjoy the development and implementation of user interfaces, where HTML, PostCSS, and ES6 are familiar terms for you

  • You have a passion for the performance of the applications you develop and know the best practices to achieve it

  • You know how to understand existing code and how to debug it

  • You are familiar with working in an agile team and act proactively

  • You speak German, and you appreciate communicating in English
