ABOUT THE ROLE:

Serve as the Senior Client Service Officer (CSO) supporting Fifth Third Wealth Advisors (FTWA) in all aspects of client service to ensure high level client satisfaction, retention, growth, and compliance with all policies and procedures governing investment advisory relationships. This role will interface with Fifth Third Bank Trust and Private Bank partners to ensure seamless client service and support across lines of business. Responsible for understanding and implementing all internal policies and procedures, and for upholding the highest standards of risk management and client experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.

  • Client Service:
    • Support FTWA Advisors and be the leader on administration of client investment advisory accounts and all related service activity.
    • Partner with Advisors to retain and grow the client base.
    • Optimize effective and efficient processes to enhance the client experience.
  • Account Administration:
    • Onboard new clients, including new account document preparation, account opening, asset transfer, and coordination with outside custodians (e.g., Schwab and Fidelity).
    • Coordinate with FTWA Administration and Operations on account opening, maintenance transactions, and asset transfers.
    • Review daily investment advisory activity and ensure compliance with all processes and procedures.
    • Work with Advisors to ensure all documentation is retained and adheres to all rules, regulations, and internal governance.
    • Partner with clients’ external partners, including attorneys, accountants, and planners.
  • Sales Support:
    • Partner with Advisors on client proposals, performance reports and marketing materials to support new business development.
    • Assist with establishing and maintaining client data on Emoney in support of FTWA Wealth Strategy activity.
    • Utilize CRM and other electronic workflow tools.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and FTWA’s mission.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 years of client service or sales experience with high net worth/ultra-high net worth clients.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Qualified candidates will possess an intermediate degree of proficiency (typically from 5 years of work or practical experience) in:

  • Client Relationship Management: Experience in CRM systems, document repositories, and electronic workflow tools.
  • Investment and Portfolio Knowledge: General knowledge of investment reporting systems, investment performance calculations, analytics, and basic understanding of investment strategies, markets, and securities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Systems: Experience with Black Diamond preferred; basic understanding of portfolio management and trade order management systems (Charles River preferred); basic understanding of custodial systems.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the bank’s footprint as needed.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility in managing changing priorities and new tasks, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach to evolving business needs.
  • Risk Management & Initiative: Proactive identification and management of risks, taking ownership to address issues and continuously improve processes and outcomes.

Total Base Pay Range 71,100.00 - 145,900.00 USD Annual

In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
