Full-Stack Developer – Village Miles

Village Miles is building a better way for travelers to discover, plan, and experience local journeys. We are looking for a hands-on full-stack developer to ship reliable product features across our mobile and web stack.

You will own features from idea to release, work closely with the founder and product team, improve performance and reliability, integrate APIs and third-party services, and help shape practical engineering standards as the product grows.

• 1–3 years of software development experience

• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and experience with React Native or React

• Experience building or integrating REST APIs with Node.js

• Demonstrated mastery of AI-assisted development tools and modern AI coding workflows

• Hands-on experience building AI agents, tool-using assistants, and reliable multi-step automated workflows

• Ability to integrate LLM APIs, structured outputs, retrieval, and external tools into production applications

• Understanding of agent evaluation, guardrails, observability, prompt design, and responsible AI practices

• Comfort working with Git and shipping tested, maintainable code

• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and make pragmatic product decisions

• Bonus: experience with Expo, Cloudflare Workers, travel products, maps, payments, or marketplace workflows
