Full Stack Developer (Workplace Technology Solutions)

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Full Stack Developer to join our Workplace Technology Solutions team. This role will primarily focus on backend application development (80%) with some frontend responsibilities (20%), supporting the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of internal and client-facing workplace technology applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Golang development, containerized environments, and modern Git workflows, along with a basic understanding of DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities Backend Development (80%) Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang and the Gin Framework. Build and optimize microservices and RESTful APIs to support workplace technology solutions. Develop secure, reliable, and high-performance applications following software engineering best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development and production environments. Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions. Perform code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality and documentation. Frontend Development (20%) Develop and enhance user interfaces for internal and customer-facing applications. Collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to deliver responsive and user-friendly web applications. Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services. DevOps & Deployment Support Build, manage, and maintain Dockerized application environments. Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities. Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure smooth application delivery and performance. Follow established Git workflows for source control, branching, code reviews, and release management. Must-Have Technical Skills (Hands-On Experience) Golang development experience, including the Gin Framework Docker containerization and deployment Git workflow management , including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and version control best practices Additional Requirements Minimum 3 years of software development experience in full-stack or backend-focused development roles. Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development. Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases. Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and application deployment. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
