What makes you a great fit 7+ years of experience building customer-facing web applications Strong proficiency in both React (or comparable modern JS framework) and Ruby on Rails Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases Comfort owning projects from concept through production, including making architectural trade-offs Track record of raising the bar for the team - through mentorship, code quality, or process improvements Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, or cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility experience Experience with observability tooling (logging, monitoring, alerting) Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Willingness to work US timezone hours for team collaboration Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating LLMs or AI/ML services into production applications Experience with A/B testing, personalization, or data-driven content customization Background in a startup or high-growth environment Familiarity with compliance, security awareness, or ed-tech domains.
