Full Stack Engineer

$165,000

Golden Gate Recruiting is helping fill this role, easy apply:

What You'll Do

  1. Own backend architecture and core system design end to end.
  2. Contribute across the full stack, web and mobile.
  3. Build the core agent loop: diagnose, recommend, act, follow up.
  4. Integrate AI APIs and external tools such as email, SMS, calendars, and CRMs.
  5. Design the memory and reasoning layer that makes the product useful on day 30, not just day 1.
  6. Build the reliability and safety guardrails around automated actions.
  7. Sit in on customer calls, read the support threads, and let real usage drive what you build next.
  8. Ship fast, iterate quickly, and prioritize real user impact.

Ideal Candidate

  1. Strong CS fundamentals with a backend focus.
  2. Comfortable across the full stack, front to back, with no handoffs.
  3. Mobile experience, React Native or similar.
  4. Solid grasp of system design, APIs, and scalable architecture.
  5. Comfortable talking to customers. You can join a call, ask good questions, take hard feedback without getting defensive, and translate a messy complaint into the right technical fix. You can explain a tradeoff to a non-technical user in plain language.
  6. Uses AI and agentic coding tools daily but has strong independent engineering judgment. You know when the model is wrong.
  7. Has shipped production software other people depended on.
  8. Bias for action and ownership.

Bonus

  • Production experience with LLM systems: tool calling, retrieval, evaluations, cost and latency tuning.
  • Experience with messaging or telephony infrastructure.
  • Experience with event-driven or workflow orchestration systems.
  • Early-stage experience as one of the first few engineers.

Founding Full Stack Engineer (Agentic Systems)

Full-time / Remote-friendly / Early team

About the Role

We are building AI that actually executes work, not just suggests it. The system identifies problems, proposes actions, takes them, and follows up. The goal is for it to feel like a real teammate, not another dashboard.

You will be one of the earliest engineers on this. You own architecture, you own outcomes, and you talk to the people using what you build.

What You'll Build

  1. A messaging-first AI agent experience.
  2. A daily intelligence and briefing engine.
  3. The execution layer for real-world actions.
  4. A lightweight dashboard interface.
  5. Core memory and reasoning systems.
  6. An evaluation framework so we can prove the system is improving.

  • Experience with messaging or telephony infrastructure.
  • Experience with event-driven or workflow orchestration systems.
  • Early-stage experience as one of the first few engineers.

Tech Stack

  • TypeScript across the stack
  • React and React Native
  • Node

What We Value

  1. Speed over perfection. Momentum compounds.
  2. Clear thinking and strong fundamentals.
  3. Ownership. If you do not do it, it does not get done.
  4. Closeness to the customer. Engineers here talk to users directly.
  5. Product intuition, not just code.
  6. Comfort in ambiguity.
  7. Don't stay in your lane. If there is a job to be done, do it.
  8. Output over optics. We celebrate impact, not activity.
  9. Automation everywhere. Failing to automate is failing to scale.

Why This Role

  1. A chance to help define a new category rather than maintain an existing one.
  2. High ownership and impact from day one.
  3. Build alongside experienced operators who have scaled real companies.
  4. Meaningful upside tied directly to execution and results.
