Build Business-Critical Securities Financing Technology

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a globally distributed technology team supporting business-critical applications within Securities Lending and Securities Financing.

This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong Java and Spring foundation and exposure to Scala, Angular and modern DevOps practices.

You'll take ownership across the complete Software Development Life Cycle, working directly with business and technology stakeholders from requirements and solution design through development, testing, deployment and production support.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain high-quality applications using Java, Spring, Scala and Angular.
• Own changes and enhancements throughout the complete SDLC, from requirements through production.
• Work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Develop scalable, reliable and maintainable application functionality.
• Apply automated testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Improve application performance, scalability, stability and overall engineering quality.
• Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve development practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
• Work across multiple teams and applications while managing competing priorities.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering and business teams.

What We're Looking For

✔ 7+ years of professional Java application development experience.

✔ Strong hands-on experience with the Spring Framework.

✔ Experience with automated testing and frameworks such as JUnit, JBehave, Cucumber, Concordion or comparable tools.

✔ Good knowledge of relational databases such as DB2 and Sybase.

✔ Working knowledge of modern development and DevOps tools including Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and UNIX/Linux.

✔ Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

✔ Proven track record delivering high-quality production software.

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

✔ Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across global teams.
