Compatibl, a leading provider of trading and risk management software solutions, is looking for a talented Full-Stack Engineer with a good level of English (B2+) to join its growing team.

About the role

You will join an international team working on a long-term project for a global US asset management firm, designing and supporting applications for credit, structured products, and CLOs. You'll collaborate with clients, portfolio managers, analysts, and other teams to modernize the analytics and reporting platform, replacing legacy systems with cloud-based, auditable services.

What will you be doing?

• Build full-stack applications across platforms.
• Integrate third-party systems and design adapters.
• Migrate legacy applications and SSRS reports to modern, scalable architectures.
• Own data quality and collaborate on governance.
• Build reporting and BI tools.
• Translate business needs into engineering requirements.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Use AI coding assistants to improve code quality.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on development in building web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Python and .NET, including creating APIs, managing asynchronous processes, and implementing integration patterns.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks such as React and JQuery, with a focus on responsive web design.
• Solid SQL expertise, with experience working with relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of Git (or TFS), setting up CI/CD pipelines, and writing automated tests.
• Proven ability to create dashboards using Tableau; SSRS knowledge is advantageous.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a financial domain.
• Familiarity with portfolio accounting platforms.
• Experience deploying and operating services on Azure or AWS.
• Experience building data lakes / lakehouses and ELT pipelines (Snowflake, Databricks).
