We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Romania to join an international product team supporting a leading company in the real estate technology sector.

This is a full-time remote contract opportunity with an initial duration of up to 6 months, offering the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance features across the real estate listing lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
  • Develop modern user-facing applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Work within a Microservices architecture and contribute to a Micro Frontend ecosystem.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
  • Take ownership of features from concept through implementation and deployment.
  • Ensure application performance, reliability, and maintainability through engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and modern development workflows, including the use of AI-assisted development tools where appropriate.


Required Skills & Experience

Technical Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer.
  • Strong commercial experience with:
  • Java
  • Kotlin
  • Spring Boot
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • AWS
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Micro Frontend Architecture
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable, production-grade applications.
  • Understanding of modern software development practices, testing strategies, and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience working in cloud-native environments.


Nice to Have

  • Experience working on marketplace, e-commerce, or real estate platforms.
  • Exposure to high-traffic customer-facing products.
  • Experience with AI-powered development tools and workflows.
  • Familiarity with product-led development environments.
