Primary Responsibilities: Develop and maintain front-end applications using modern web technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, LINQ, React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Build and support back-end services and REST APIs using Python, or Node.js under the guidance of senior engineers Participate in application design discussions and technical reviews Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering standards and best practices Perform unit testing, support defect resolution, and collaborate with QA teams to ensure product quality Work with databases and write basic SQL queries to support application functionality Learn and utilize CI/CD pipelines, source control tools, and cloud technologies to support software deployment and operations Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation Basic, structured, standard approach to work Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Graduate degree or equivalent experience, such as a bachelor's degree in Computer 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, artificial intelligence development, or related technical disciplines Experience developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using modern programming languages and engineering best practices Hands-on experience with backend development technologies such as .NET / .NET Core and front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar web technologies Foundational experience building, training, evaluating, or deploying machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions, including natural language processing, large language models, classification models, computer vision, or predictive analytics Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, and source control systems such as GitHub Experience with cloud platforms, data processing tools, APIs, and modern software development lifecycle practices including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Proven ability to analyze data, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to scalable, secure, and maintainable software and artificial intelligence solutions Proven solid communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
