Full Stack Engineer (Frontend Oriented) — Identity & Security

Experience & Connectivity Team About the Team The Experience and Connectivity (E&C) team builds and maintains user-facing security products at Binance. We are developing an in-house AI facial recognition security product for user safety and KYC verification, replacing our existing third-party vendor solution. This is a to-C product serving hundreds of millions of users, directly impacting account security and identity verification experience. Job Description As an AI Fullstack Developer, you will own both frontend and backend development for our in-house facial recognition security product — from requirement design to production deployment. You will work closely with the AI algorithm team to engineer facial recognition, liveness detection, and other AI capabilities into user-facing products. Responsibilities Develop both frontend (React) and backend APIs (Node.js) for the in-house AI facial recognition security product, covering core flows including KYC verification, liveness detection, and face matching Collaborate with the AI algorithm team to integrate facial recognition and liveness detection models into the product frontend and backend, building high-concurrency, low-latency online inference services Design and implement user-facing KYC verification flows with strong focus on security, stability, and user experience Drive the migration from third-party vendor solution to in-house solution, ensuring smooth business transition Build high-concurrency verification request handling architecture, including caching strategies, queue management, and retry mechanisms Participate in system architecture design, technology selection, code reviews, and engineering standards Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related fields 3-8 years of frontend/fullstack development experience Proficient in React ecosystem (React hooks, Redux/Zustand, Next.js) and TypeScript Hands-on experience with Node.js backend development, including RESTful API / GraphQL design, databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and caching (Redis) Familiar with frontend tooling (Vite/Webpack, ESLint, Prettier, pnpm) Experience with high-concurrency, low-latency system design or development Proficient in AI-assisted development tools (Cursor / Claude Code / Copilot, etc.) with practical AI-assisted development experience Fluent in Mandarin, able to collaborate effectively with China-based teams Preferred qualifications Experience at AI/computer vision companies (SenseTime, Megvii, Yitu, Cloudwalk, etc.) in business-side frontend/fullstack development Experience building to-C security products, identity verification, or KYC-related products Experience building products from scratch or replacing vendor solutions Knowledge of AI model engineering (model inference services, RAG systems, AI Agent architecture) Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / CI-CD pipelines Why Binance • Shape the future with the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem • Collaborate with world-class talent in a user-centric global organization with a flat structure • Tackle unique, fast-paced projects with autonomy in an innovative environment • Thrive in a results-driven workplace with opportunities for career growth and continuous learning • Competitive salary and company benefits • Work-from-home arrangement (the arrangement may vary depending on the work nature of the business team) Binance is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
