We’re looking for an experienced Solar Admin Assistant to join our growing offshore team at Percy Productivity. You’ll be supporting Australian solar companies with everything from grid connection applications to STC submissions — helping streamline their operations and keep installs moving smoothly. Key Responsibilities: - Process STC forms and manage compliance documentation. - Submit and track GridConnect pre-approvals and connection applications with various DNSPs across Australia. - Send out handover kits via Pylon, OpenSolar, or other platforms as required. - Manage job records, checklists, and customer data for multiple clients. - Liaise professionally with Australian installers, office staff, and customers as needed. - Work across multiple clients and adapt quickly to their systems and processes. Advantage experience to handle: Commercial Solar Administration - Manage DNSP grid connection applications for commercial solar systems (30 kW+) - Prepare and submit pre-approval applications - Respond to DNSP technical queries and requests for additional information - Manage export limits, zero-export requirements, and protection conditions - Upload and manage documentation across DNSP portals Solar + Battery Projects - Support commercial battery approvals and documentation - Ensure batteries are included correctly in DNSP approvals and SLDs - Manage commissioning evidence and compliance documentation - Coordinate with installers to resolve approval or documentation gaps Compliance & Documentation Review and manage: - Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) - CEC-compliant documentation - Installer and designer accreditation evidence - Commissioning photos and reports - Prepare STC documentation for commercial systems - Package compliance folders for audit readiness Liaise with: - Australian installers and electricians - STC traders - Retailers and DNSPs (via email and portals) - Track job status, approvals, and outstanding actions - Flag risks, delays, or compliance issues early and escalate appropriately Requirements What We’re Looking For - Direct experience working with Australian solar companies Hands-on experience with: - Grid connection applications - STCs for commercial solar - Australian DNSP portals A solid understanding of: - Export limits and DNSP pre-approval requirements - Solar + battery integration fundamentals - Clean Energy Council (CEC) compliance frameworks Essential: - Experience across multiple Australian states (VIC, NSW, QLD) - Experience managing commercial metering coordination - Familiarity with CRMs such as Pylon, OpenSolar, ServiceM8, or similar - Experience supporting mid-to-high volume solar installers - Customer service or technical solar knowledge is highly essential Benefits Why You’ll Love Working With Us - AU time zone working hours (no graveyard shifts) - We’re a passionate, forward-thinking team (and genuinely good humans) - Growth opportunities as we expand - Supportive culture where initiatives and ideas are celebrated
