Full-Stack Developer (Generative AI, Marketing & Media)

[Remote – South Africa] | [Part-time]

Requirements:

• Proven full-stack experience with strong Python on the back end (FastAPI preferred)
• Front-end proficiency in JavaScript, ideally Vue.js (React or Angular also considered)
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MSSQL a plus)
• Experience building with RESTful APIs, Git, and agile workflows
• Genuine interest in, or experience with, AI or marketing projects
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Strong plus: Familiarity with LLM APIs (e.g. GPT, Claude), vector search, or AI workflows in a media context.

They're looking for a Full-Stack Developer who wants to go beyond traditional web development and work where software engineering meets applied machine learning, particularly LLMs and predictive analytics.

What you'll do

• Build and integrate generative AI features using LLMs and custom fine-tuned models for use cases like copy generation, image summarization, and insight extraction
• Design and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and scalable data flows in Python, FastAPI, and SQL
• Develop performant front-end experiences in Vue.js
• Work with data and product teams to turn user needs into robust technical solutions
• Maintain quality through testing, monitoring, and code reviews
• Document processes, models, and workflows so knowledge is shared across the team
