Full Stack Software Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a collaborative development team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of modern software applications. This position will have an approximately 70% backend / 30% frontend development split. The ideal candidate will bring strong backend development experience with Java, Ruby on Rails, and/or Golang , along with frontend development experience using JavaScript . The engineer will work across the full software development lifecycle while contributing to cloud-based applications and modern development environments utilizing technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack software applications. Focus primarily on backend development while supporting frontend application functionality. Develop backend services and application components using Java, Ruby on Rails, and Golang . Build and maintain frontend functionality using JavaScript . Contribute to applications running in AWS cloud environments. Work with containerized applications and Kubernetes . Support infrastructure and deployment automation using Terraform and Ansible . Collaborate with other engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to scalable, maintainable software solutions. Required Skills Expert-level software development experience. Strong Java development experience. Experience with JavaScript . Experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) . Experience with Golang (Go) . Strong understanding of full stack development , with an emphasis on backend engineering. Experience working with Kubernetes . Additional Preferred Experience AWS Terraform Ansible Cloud-based application development and deployment Infrastructure automation Containerized application environments Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morrisville, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
