Work your way — fully remote OR in our newly remodeled Oshkosh, WI office Variety in your work — enjoy both front-end and back-end development opportunities Make a visible impact — your work will be seen and experienced by real customers Stay on the cutting edge — experiment with the latest web technologies and trends Collaborate with talented developers and eCommerce business teams who value your input What You'll Be Doing Building and maintaining complex Episerver/Optimizely eCommerce websites in a PCI Compliant environment Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in peer code reviews Creating flexible solutions that adapt to a highly dynamic and evolving business model Working in an Agile environment through iterative development and open communication Collaborating with business users, coworkers, and leadership to deliver great outcomes Proactively learning and experimenting with the latest web technologies and best practices Contributing to large-scale projects involving multiple developers, teams, and systems What You'll Bring Must-Haves: Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience (ideally 3–5 years) Demonstrated skills in several of the following technologies: C#, .Net, Vue3, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, NuGet, jQuery Solid understanding of: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Styling and UI Development eCommerce framework development Source Control (Git, Visual Studio Source Control) MVC architecture Microsoft SQL Development Mobile and Responsive Design (Bootstrap) Strong desire to learn new skills quickly and put them to use Ability to estimate accurately, plan ahead, and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills — with both technical and non-technical audiences Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Agile Scrum Experience with Build/Release Management Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience with MuleSoft integrations Knowledge of SEO concepts The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here You're someone who: Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do next Communicates clearly and collaborates well with your team Adapts quickly to changing priorities and business needs Takes pride in writing clean, high-quality code Loves learning and gets excited about new technologies A Few Other Things to Know This role supports public-facing eCommerce websites — stability and performance matter You'll work closely with eCommerce business teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Flexible team environment with room to grow in both front-end and back-end skills Silver Star Brands is an equal opportunity employer.
