Full time estimator/drafter (AU Dayshift, Remote/WFH Philippines)

Job Description This is a remote position. PERMANENT AU DAYSHIFT, REMOTE/WFH PHILIPPINES Job Description: Seasoned Estimator-Drafter We are seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Estimator-Drafter with strong Commercial and Architectural skills to join our team. As an estimator you will be responsible for generating detailed material take-offs and calculating the labor, material, and time costs required to execute the project technical while simultaneously performing drawings and blueprints using CAD software as requested by the internal design construction and administration team. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Primary ● Material Take-Offs & Costing: Analyze project specifications to calculate exact material quantities, equipment needs, and labor hours required for a build. ● Tender & Bid Prep: Assist in compiling comprehensive cost estimates and proposals to bid on new contracts and tenders. ● Compliance: Ensure all drawings and project estimates meet local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations ● Team Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, engineers, and architects to update plans, correct discrepancies, and optimize costs. Secondary ● Design & Drafting: Create precise 2D or 3D technical drawings, blueprints, and working documents based on client needs and engineering requirements. Candidates must have: ● Good communication skills with Proficient english ● Experience in AU is MUST (commercial and residential) ● Proficiency in CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit) and estimating software (e.g., CostX, Databuild, Bluebeam) ● Proficiency in Word and Excel ● Must be flexible and be able to work to tight deadlines. ● Previous experience in a similar role is essential - general estimator-drafter ● The ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team. ● Be flexible and progressive in thinking and be able to action thoughts. ● Detail oriented (provide detailed quotes covering materials, labor, and installation costs) ● Strong mathematical aptitude to interpret blueprints and calculate angles, weights, and expenses. ● Interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings ● Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering graduate
