Responsibilities:

• Own the full development lifecycle of back-end and front-end features on client engagements, from API and business logic design through UI integration.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs that connect front-end and back-end systems.
• Manage data access using Entity Framework and write complex, efficient SQL Server queries.
• Apply Clean Architecture principles, SOLID, and common design patterns to deliver scalable, maintainable code.
• Step into a senior back-end role on projects that require deep Clean Architecture and API expertise.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as part of daily development work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong back-end skills in C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core, and MVC (.NET Core 6+ preferred).
• Solid understanding of Clean Architecture principles, SOLID, and common design patterns.
• Experience with Entity Framework for data access and MediatR for request/response handling.
• Proven experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Advanced-level SQL Server (or similar relational database) skills, with the ability to write complex, efficient queries.
• Front-end proficiency in JavaScript and CSS, with hands-on experience integrating a framework such as React, Angular, or Ember.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (XUnit or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Intermediate to advanced English, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Quick learner, adaptable to new technologies and changing project needs.
• Hands-on, daily experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).

Nice to Have

• Experience with React, Angular, or Ember (deep expertise in more than one is a plus).
• Comfortable working on monolithic architectures with a long-term modernization mindset.
• Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Azure SQL, Functions).
• CI/CD experience, particularly with Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Docker/containerization and microservices exposure.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization best practices.
