As the world’s pioneering local delivery platform, our mission is to deliver an amazing experience, fast, easy, and to your door. We operate in around 65 countries worldwide, powered by tech, designed by people. As one of Europe’s largest tech platforms, headquartered in Berlin, Germany, Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index. We push hard, learn quickly and stay human along the way. It’s this wonderful mix of high performance and real community that makes Delivery Hero a place where ambition and belonging grow side by side. If you’re curious, collaborative and ready to dive deep into meaningful work, you’ll fit right in.
Code. Culture. Teamwork. As a Software Engineer I (Fullstack), you'll contribute to the systems that keep inventory moving across Delivery Hero's Quick Commerce supply chain — from purchase orders and store transfers to distribution center operations and WMS integrations. You'll work full-stack across Golang, Python and React, learning from experienced engineers while shipping features that directly support planners and operations teams every day.
Our team builds technology that enables inventory to move efficiently across our supply chain network (from procurement and replenishment to distribution centers, stores and other inventory movements). We develop systems used by planners and operational teams to manage Purchase Orders, Store Transfers, Cross Dock operations and Returns, while also building capabilities around Distribution Centers operations, inventory visibility and integrations with internal and external Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Our tech stack goes from Golang and Python in the backend to React/Typescript on the frontend. We are progressively adopting Golang for new backend and event-driven components while continuing to evolve our existing Python services.
Be part of redefining how customers experience quick commerce. You'll help build technology that scales our non-food offerings, reaching new market segments and driving revenue growth. By innovating within our Quick Commerce Team, you'll make Delivery Hero the go-to platform for a broad range of products, helping us grow faster and deliver more value to customers around the world.
Contribute to the development of fullstack applications, working across backend services (Golang/Python) and frontend interfaces (React)
Work with experienced engineers to design and deliver features supporting inventory movements, Distribution Center operations and WMS integrations

Initial professional experience in software development through junior roles, internships, working student positions or relevant projects, with solid foundations in software design, data structures and algorithms
Experience with at least one backend programming language; Golang or Python is particularly relevant, with an interest in developing further across both
Familiarity with modern frontend development using Javascript/Typescript and React or a comparable framework
Understanding of REST APIs, relational databases/SQL, Git and automated testing as part of modern software development
A collaborative and proactive mindset, with willingness to work across the stack, learn from feedback, take increased ownership and use modern development practices and AI-assisted tooling responsibly
