FULLY REMOTE- Claims Customer Service Representative

TEKsystems is hiring a FULLY REMOTE Claims Customer Service Representative to work for a financial client.

This position would interview right away and would start within the next couple of weeks!

Job Description

-Average 40-50 Customer Service Calls per day

-Provide customers with timely, accurate, and customer-focused benefit and claim information.

-Solicit and enter the information needed to enter and process claims accurately and in a timely manner

-Record summaries of information exchanged in our claim system with a high level of accuracy and detail easily understood by the user

-Issue timely and accurate claim acknowledgement correspondence

-Process incoming documents with high coding integrity and distribute immediately

Qualifications

-Supplemental health claims experience

-Knows CPT/HCPCS/REV/ICD 10 codes and the forms that providers and facilities use to bill insurance companies

-1-2+ Years of previous experience within health insurance claims and benefits particularly, Scheduled Accident, Critical Illness, or Hospital Indemnity

-1+ year call center experience (remote call center preferred)

-Know how to read medical claims forms (HCFA 1500 & UB04)

-Understand how to read medical records, EOBs, CPT codes is helpful

Hours

Monday- Friday- 10:30am-7:00pm CST

Pay

$20-22/hr. (based off experience)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
