We’re hiring registered healthcare professionals to join a growing team as Functional Assessors — a role where you’ll use your clinical expertise in a structured, non-treatment environment.

Who can apply?

We’re looking for:

• NMC Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
• HCPC Registered Professionals:
• Paramedics
• Occupational Therapists
• Physiotherapists

Minimum 12 months’ recent UK post-qualification experience

Full UK right to work (no sponsorship available)

The role – What you’ll be doing

You’ll carry out functional assessments for individuals applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessment (WCA)

• Conduct face-to-face and remote assessments
• Assess individuals with physical and mental health conditions
• Apply your clinical knowledge + medical evidence to each case
• Produce clear, evidence-based reports
• Help determine how conditions impact daily living

What you’ll need

• Strong clinical knowledge (physical + mental health)
• Good IT skills (report writing is ~50% of role)
• Ability to commute to site 2-3 days per week
• Confident communication and decision-making skills

Training & support

• 12-week structured training programme
• Must commit to full-time training (first 6 weeks without leave)
• Ongoing CPD + revalidation support
