Functional Automation Tester | Dynamics 365 and Power Platform

• 12 month federal contract + 2 x 12 month extensions
• Build Playwright and API automation into Azure DevOps pipelines
• Hybrid, Canberra based, Baseline clearance preferred

About the company: Our client is a federal government regulator delivering a digital-first customer portal that makes regulatory services faster and easier for its customers. The portal is built in-house on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform and continues to grow.

About the role: Join an established Testing Practice on an inflight portal program. You will deliver manual and automated testing across Dynamics 365, Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse, and make sure automated UI and API regression tests run in CI/CD pipelines, not just on demand.

Duties

• Analyse requirements and design, execute and maintain test scenarios for D365 and Power Platform business processes
• Build and maintain automated UI regression suites using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar
• Automate API and integration tests (APIM-fronted APIs, Dataverse plugins and custom APIs, authentication flows)
• Integrate automated suites into Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
• Manage defects and report on testing across multiple concurrent projects

Skills and experience

• Hands-on testing of Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications
• Strong UI and API automation with Playwright, Selenium, Postman/Newman, REST Assured or similar
• Test automation in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Functional, integration, system, regression and UAT experience in Agile teams, using VS Code, source control and ADO
• Australian citizen, able to obtain Baseline clearance (current Baseline highly regarded). ISTQB Automation and Jira experience are a bonus
