Fund Administration Associate

Your key responsibilities are to deliver white glove service and honor the FSG Principles while: Assisting with recording basic accounting entries and learning how to work with both cash and accrual activity Supporting the team in tracking investment activity and helping prepare performance reports Reconciling cash balances and assisting in identifying and resolving discrepancies Helping prepare schedules for management fees, allocations, and other fund-related calculations Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, investor notices, and tax schedules Collaborating with colleagues and third-party providers such as auditors and tax teams Participating in team learning opportunities and supporting onboarding of future hire Our requirements for you as an applicant are simple: A degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field (or equivalent coursework/experience) A basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge is a plus, but not required) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear and professional written communication Willingness to learn fund concepts like fees, capital activities, and industry best practices Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Interest in learning fund administration software (training will be provided) If you excel in your responsibilities and fulfill your requirements, our commitment to you is: Comprehensive benefits Base salary commensurate with experience and success: The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 Quarterly bonus that offers unlimited potential growth - 1/3 rd of our profits (no matter how much) are shared with our team in bonuses each quarter We are primarily a remote work company, but some of the training for this role may be best delivered in-person leveraging client sites or local coworking locations. Our clients also ask us to provide on-site support from time-to-time.
