This is a flexible remote opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate of $25.00 - $45.00, based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Collect, organize, and maintain financial data from internal systems and external sources Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports for management Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key variances Support the development and maintenance of financial models and spreadsheets Identify data discrepancies and recommend process improvements to ensure accuracy Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather required financial information Help automate recurring reporting tasks to increase efficiency Ensure all financial data is handled in compliance with company policies and regulations Participate in team meetings to provide data-driven insights for decision-making Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (or currently pursuing) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and Google Sheets Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred Previous internship or coursework in financial analysis is desirable
