About the Team
The Investment Data and Valuations team supports complex Fund of Funds structures through controlled processing of investment documents, accurate data capture, portfolio valuation reviews, and effective use of CDI and PDS across the India and Manila CoEs.
Role Summary
Lead Investment Data and Valuations operations across the India and Manila Centers of Excellence, with accountability for service delivery, data quality, portfolio valuation oversight, CDI and PDS governance, stakeholder management, risk and controls, talent development, and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Investment Data and Valuations operations across India and Manila, ensuring complex Fund of Funds documents and transactions are processed accurately and on time through CDI and PDS.
Provide governance over document extraction, categorization, indexing and data validation, including investor statements, PCAPs, transaction notices, and related investment documents.
Oversee portfolio valuation reviews and packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timely delivery and adherence to client-specific requirements.
Own the control environment for data quality and valuations, including procedures, risk management, issue escalation, remediation and service-level performance.
Act as a senior point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, leading to the resolution of complex queries, service issues, and operational dependencies.
Manage capacity, recruitment, performance, succession planning and capability development across both CoE locations.
Drive standardization, process improvement, automation and technology adoption across CDI, PDS, and related workflows.
Lead onboarding, transitions and change initiatives, ensuring clear requirements, controls, resources and delivery plans.
Build a high-performing culture focused on accountability, collaboration, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Executive Competencies
10-15 years of relevant experience in financial services, fund administration, investment data, valuations or Fund of Funds operations, including significant leadership responsibility.
Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, banking, business or a related discipline; a professional qualification is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Funds investment documents, portfolio valuations, data controls, client-service requirements and operational risk.
Proven experience leading managers and high-performing teams across multiple locations in a controlled, deadline-driven environment.
Strong stakeholder management, decision-making and communication skills, with experience resolving complex operational and client issues.
Demonstrated success in process improvement, automation, technology adoption, and scalable operating practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with flexibility to support the operating model where required.
