Help shape campaigns Queenslanders have been showing up for, for decades.

48 years of MS Readathon. 36 years of MS Brissie to the Bay. 27 years of MS Moonlight Walk.

These are more than fundraising campaigns. They’re established community movements that bring people together to read, ride, walk and raise funds for people living with MS and neurological conditions.

With 1 in 4 Queenslanders living with a neurological condition like MS, MND, Parkinson’s dementia, epilepsy and more, the impact of this work matters.

Following an exciting internal promotion, we’re looking for a highly organised, curious, and proactive Fundraising Campaign Specialist to help deliver the next chapter of these campaigns.

Within the awesome team, reporting to the Fundraising Campaign Manager and working closely with the Fundraising Events Lead, you’ll take ownership of campaign delivery across our mass participation and peer-to-peer programs.

This role is more than campaigns. It’s creating the opportunity for someone’s life to be better.

About MS Queensland

MS Queensland is a purpose-driven, not-for-profit charity supporting people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and neurological conditions. For more than 65 years, we have been a trusted voice and support provider for Queenslanders living with MS. Today, our work extends more broadly across neurological conditions, helping people access connection, wellness, information, services and support that improve quality of life.

Our purpose is deeply human: to ensure every Queenslander living with a neurological condition can connect to a better life.

Based at our contemporary Neuro Wellness Hub on Milton’s vibrant Park Road, you’ll join a collaborative team united by authenticity and purpose. In this full-time role, we offer a hybrid working model, with two days in Milton and three days from home, outside key event periods. You’ll enjoy flexibility, a culture grounded in trust and respect, and meaningful work that supports both your purpose and wellbeing.

The opportunity

Behind every participant, every kilometre and every dollar raised is the possibility of a better life.

You’ll help MS Queensland reach more people, raise more funds, and expand access to life-changing support for people living with MS and neurological conditions.

You’ll work across campaign communications, digital activity, data, supporter engagement, fulfilment, logistics, suppliers, volunteers, sponsors and event delivery.

You’ll have the autonomy to own your work, a collaborative team around you and the support to learn, contribute and grow.

Your Impact

In this role, you’ll be part of the engine room behind some of MS Queensland’s most loved campaigns, turning good ideas into well-run experiences and meaningful supporter moments.

You’ll:

  • Bring campaigns to life by coordinating plans, launches, activations, timelines, and the many moving pieces that make them work.
  • Make every touchpoint count through thoughtful communications, supporter stewardship, fulfilment, and engagement across the campaign journey.
  • Keep the details humming by coordinating logistics, suppliers, merchandise, participant resources, events, and operational requirements.
  • Follow the story in the numbers by monitoring campaign performance, budgets, data, and trends, turning insights into action.
  • Make things even better by spotting opportunities, solving problems, and contributing ideas that strengthen campaign performance and supporter experience.
  • Work as one team alongside fundraising, marketing, digital, suppliers, partners, and other internal teams, with support, collaboration, and shared accountability at every stage.
  • Help protect what matters by supporting compliance, risk management and a safe, positive experience for our people, participants, volunteers, and supporters.

You’ll have a team around you, experienced people to collaborate with and the opportunity to grow your craft while doing work that genuinely moves our mission forward.

What success looks & feels like

  • Campaigns run smoothly, with strong organisation, follow-through, and attention to detail behind every participant and supporter experience.
  • You take ownership confidently, managing your priorities, solving problems, and knowing when to seek support or escalate.
  • Collaboration feels natural, building strong relationships across fundraising, marketing, digital, suppliers, and partners to achieve shared outcomes.
  • You can see the impact, knowing your work has helped people connect, participate, fundraise, and access meaningful support.

About you

You’re organised, curious and naturally driven to make things happen.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Campaign experience: 3+ years in events, marketing, fundraising, advertising or a similar field, with experience delivering multi-channel campaigns. Fundraising experience is valued, but not essential.
  • Data & digital confidence: Experience with CRM, database marketing, segmentation, analytics, and digital tracking, using insights to optimise campaigns and supporter engagement. Experience with Google Analytics, Meta, Google Ads or similar platforms is highly regarded.
  • Ownership & organisation: Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities, meet deadlines, manage issues, and take an idea from concept through to delivery.
  • Curiosity & creativity: A test-and-learn mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the confidence to spot opportunities, challenge the usual and find better ways of doing things.
  • People skills: Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence and communicate confidently across all levels and with external partners and supporters.
  • Purpose & presence: Genuine empathy for people living with MS and neurological conditions, with the confidence to represent MS Queensland, engage supporters and tell stories that inspire action.
  • Practical capability: Strong Microsoft Office skills, experience with fundraising or CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), a current driver’s license, and flexibility to attend events outside standard business hours. Adobe Creative Suite, Ortto, Canva and HTML experience would be a bonus.

Most importantly, you’re a self-starter who thrives with autonomy, values collaboration and wants to turn great campaign work into meaningful impact.
