Fundraising Coordinator

Role Description The Fundraising Coordinator is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the development and execution of fundraising strategies that advance Wendi’s mission. This role involves organizing and coordinating fundraising campaigns and events, maintaining donor databases, and managing regular communications with supporters and partners. The Fundraising Coordinator will research prospective donors, prepare proposals and outreach materials, and assist in grant applications and reporting. Day-to-day tasks include tracking fundraising progress, preparing impact updates and reports, collaborating with program and communications teams on fundraising content, and ensuring timely follow-up with donors and stakeholders. The coordinator will also help identify new philanthropic opportunities and contribute ideas to strengthen donor engagement and stewardship.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to build and maintain productive relationships with donors, partners, and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess Philanthropy and Fundraising skills, including familiarity with donor cultivation, stewardship, and basic fundraising strategies.
• Candidates should possess Event Planning skills to support the design, coordination, and execution of virtual and in-person fundraising events.
• Experience with donor management tools or CRM systems and proficiency in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentations) is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work setting are important.
• Previous experience in non-profit fundraising, development, or community engagement, and knowledge of international development or social impact work are advantageous.
• A relevant diploma or degree in communications, non-profit management, business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
