Role Description The Fundraising Manager is a contract role responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies to support YooKatale’s mission and growth. This hybrid position is based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and cultivating prospective donors, managing relationships with major donors and philanthropic partners, and coordinating fundraising campaigns and events. The Fundraising Manager will prepare proposals, impact reports, and presentations, while collaborating with internal teams to align fundraising activities with program needs and organizational priorities. The role also involves tracking fundraising performance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to long-term resource development plans.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with major donors and managing donor relationships.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas clearly in writing and in person.
- Knowledge of philanthropy and charities, including best practices in nonprofit fundraising.
- Experience in annual giving programs, donor retention, and campaign coordination.
- Proven ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies in a multicultural environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Prior fundraising experience in social impact, food systems, or technology-driven organizations is an advantage.
