Role Description The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing fundraising strategies to support Wendi’s programs and initiatives. This full-time remote role includes identifying potential donors and partners, preparing compelling proposals and grant applications, and maintaining donor relationships through regular communication and reporting. The Fundraising Officer will organize virtual campaigns and events, manage fundraising databases, track progress against targets, and ensure accurate documentation of contributions. The role also involves collaborating with program and communications teams to develop persuasive fundraising materials, impact stories, and updates that align with Wendi’s mission and vision.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to articulate Wendi’s mission clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Philanthropy and Charities, with experience engaging donors, partners, and grant-making organizations.
  • Excellent Organization Skills to manage multiple fundraising activities, deadlines, and donor records.
  • Professional Writing skills for proposals, grant applications, reports, and donor correspondence.
  • Experience in fundraising, development, or non-profit management is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong time management and self-motivation.
  • Familiarity with fundraising tools, CRM systems, and basic data analysis for tracking and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Non-profit Management, Business, Development Studies, or a related field is an advantage.
