Wilder International is a conservation organisation supporting wildlife, people and places around the world.
Our small team provides practical support, advice and training in wildlife health, animal care and conservation, alongside supporting rewilding initiatives and species recovery.
We’re looking for a Fundraising Volunteer to join our small team and help us grow the support behind our conservation and animal welfare work.
This is a varied and flexible role with the opportunity to get involved in different areas of charitable fundraising. You might be researching new funding opportunities one week and helping us explore potential partnerships or put together a grant application the next.
We’re not looking for someone who ticks every box. Some previous fundraising experience or knowledge would be helpful, but this could also be a great opportunity for someone looking to build their experience within the charity and conservation sectors.
- Researching funding opportunities, including relevant trusts and foundations
- Identifying potential corporate partners and sponsors
- Supporting the preparation and writing of grant applications
- Helping with reports and updates for funders
- Exploring opportunities to grow individual giving
- Supporting fundraising campaigns and ideas
- Helping us make the most of third-party fundraising platforms
- Identifying new and creative ways to raise funds and build support for Wilder International
We’d love to hear from someone who has some experience or an interest in fundraising, grant writing, research or the charity sector.
You’ll ideally be comfortable working independently, have good written communication and research skills, and be happy to bring your own ideas to the role.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for wildlife conservation and welfare and would like to use their skills to help us make a difference.
This is a remote and flexible role that can fit around your existing commitments.
You’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in charitable fundraising, develop your skills across different areas of fundraising and work alongside a small team with extensive experience in wildlife health, welfare and conservation.
You’ll also be helping us build the support we need to continue our conservation work both in the UK and internationally.
