The Role
This is a senior position built for someone who already has an active client base and is ready to be rewarded directly for what they bring in and grow. You'll operate autonomously, reporting directly to the managing director.
You'll be responsible for:
- Expanding Arrivee's FX client base by identifying and engaging new individual, small business, corporate, private equity and family office clients
- Building trust and long-term partnerships with key stakeholders through exceptional service and strategic relationship-building
- Developing and executing tailored FX strategies, advising clients on risk management, hedging and transaction execution
- Staying ahead of market trends to provide clients with actionable insights and opportunities
- Working closely with trading, research and risk management teams to deliver seamless, coordinated client solutions
- Monitoring market developments and client needs to help identify new opportunities
- Preparing presentations, proposals, and product pitches for client discussions
- Maintaining a disciplined, self-directed approach to prospecting and pipeline management, consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Ensuring all activities align with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements
- Participating in client meetings and business development activities as appropriate
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activity
- Contributing to team initiatives, knowledge sharing and best practice
- Representing the firm professionally in all client engagements
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 8+ years of FX sales experience
- RG146 (preferred but not required)
- Fluency in English and another Asian language (preferred but not required)
- Exposure to foreign exchange or hedging solutions
- Demonstrated track record of building, transitioning and growing a client book, with consistent revenue generation
- Established network within small business, entrepreneurial, corporate treasury, private equity, family office or other relevant circles
- Strong understanding of FX products (spot, forwards, options) and the broader macro factors that move currency markets
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating autonomously with minimal oversight
- Right to work in Australia
