DESCRIPTION DU STAGE

En tant que stagiaire en Programmation de Jeu, tu sera appelé.e à travailler sur différentes fonctionnalités du jeu, nouvelles ou déjà présentes, dans le but d'ajouter à l'expérience du joueur ou d'améliorer celle-ci. Au cours de ce stage à temps plein, tu passeras de l’apprentissage et de l’observation à la prise en charge et à l’amélioration de changements ayant un impact réel. C’est une opportunité idéale pour un esprit curieux, analytique et créatif désireux de percer dans le développement de jeux mobiles.



CE QUE TU VAS FAIRE

  • Travailler en équipe pour développer et programmer de nouvelles fonctionnalités
  • Participation à l’analyse du travail des améliorations potentielles du jeu
  • Investigation et résolution de problèmes (débogages) présents dans le jeu



TON PROFIL

  • Être inscrit(e) dans un programme universitaire ou collégiale au Québec à temps plein. Idéalement en fin de programme.
  • Connaissance en langage orienté objet (C#, C++ et/ou java)
  • Compréhension du fonctionnement d’engins de jeux et intérêt pour apprendre un engin de jeu maison sur nos jeux legacy.
  • Fort intérêt pour les jeux mobiles et les modèles économiques free-to-play.
  • Excellentes capacités de communication et de collaboration.
  • Le bilinguisme (FR/EN) est un atout, mais non obligatoire.



PROCESSUS DE RECRUTEMENT

Candidature → Appel avec le recrutement → Exercice créatif → Rencontre avec l’équipe → Sélection finale

Les candidat(e)s sélectionné(e)s recevront un court exercice créatif à réaliser à la maison avant la rencontre avec l’équipe.

La rencontre avec l’équipe aura lieu le 3 novembre, de 14 h à 16 h, dans nos bureaux de Montréal. Tu auras l’occasion de présenter ton travail, d’expliquer ton processus créatif, de recevoir du feedback et d’échanger avec les personnes avec qui tu pourrais travailler.

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION

As a Game Programming Intern, you will be called upon to work on various game features, new or existing, with the goal of adding to or improving the player experience. During this full-time internship, you will progress from learning and observation to ownership and improvement of changes with real impact. This is an ideal opportunity for a curious, analytical, and creative mind eager to break into mobile game development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work collaboratively to develop and program new features
  • Participate in analyzing potential game improvements
  • Investigate and resolve issues (debugging) within the game


YOUR PROFILE

  • Enrolled in a quebec University or College program full-time. Ideally in the end of your course.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (C#, C++ and/or Java)
  • Understanding of how game engines work and interest in learning a proprietary engine for our legacy games
  • Strong interest in mobile games and free-to-play economic models
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bilingualism (FR/EN) is an asset but not required

Selected candidates might be asked to complete a short take-home creative exercise to complete before meeting the team.



The in-person session will take place on November 3, from 2:00–4:00 PM at our Montreal studio. You’ll have the opportunity to present your work, walk us through your creative process, receive feedback, and connect with the people you could be working with.
