Gas Supply Analyst I, Measurement and Regulation
ONE GasSupports the development and maintenance of database tools, preparing basic measurement analyses, supporting compliance reporting activities, and building business intelligence capabilities related to measurement data.
- Provides standardized access to measurement communication programs. Troubleshoots basic issues related to setup and modification of flow computer programs.
- Supports the maintenance of databases and related processes.
- Assists with the configuration and validation of gas measurement calculations to promote consistency across systems. Participates in testing data communication between field devices, SCADA, and measurement systems.
- Contributes to system development efforts and supports internal and external partners by helping fulfill measurement data requests.
- Prepares compliance reporting data for regulatory and internal requirements, including:
- Greenhouse Gas Reporting
- MAOP and Odorization Verification
- Meter Testing
- Lost and Unaccounted Gas
- Supports business intelligence efforts related to measurement data by assisting with report development and data visualization activities.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Education
- Preferred degree in MIS or Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and additional work experience. Typically, one and a half to two years of relevant experience is equivalent to one year of formal education.
- In addition to education, this role typically calls for up to two years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of databases structure, database management, and the ability to write SQL queries against databases for targeted analysis.
- Working knowledge of measurement software applications, such as Flowcal, Banner, Maximo, MMS, Quorum, and associated reports used to improve measurement accuracy.
- Experience in the use of visualization software and data formatting.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and analyze computer applications.
- Demonstrated ability to apply math, algebra, and statistical and volumetric formulas.
- Basic experience in:
- Computer applications such as CIS, MIS, and MMIS
- Supervisor Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system
- Experience reading and interpreting reports.
- Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Licenses and Certifications
- Preferred: applicable driver’s license.
Additional Requirements
- May be stationery for extended periods of time.
- Able to operate tools and equipment required.
- Able to exchange verbal and/or written information or instructions.
- Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.
