GCP Cloud Engineer, EU based

We are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to join an international project focused on building and operating secure Google Cloud infrastructure for enterprise Agentic AI platforms. The successful candidate will work with cloud security, networking, Infrastructure as Code, and observability solutions, contributing to the development and maintenance of secure and scalable cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure Google Cloud infrastructure for enterprise Agentic AI platforms
• Configure and manage GCP IAM, service accounts, custom IAM roles, and Workload Identity Federation
• Implement secure cloud networking using VPC Service Controls, Private Service Connect, and cross-cloud connectivity solutions
• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for provisioning cloud infrastructure, Agent Platform resources, Agent Gateway instances, and network policies
• Create, implement, and test IAM and governance policies using policy-as-code approaches
• Implement observability solutions using Google Cloud Trace, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring
• Build monitoring dashboards and topology views across managed, self-hosted, and external agents
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure cloud infrastructure security, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience as a GCP Cloud Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and security services
• Practical experience with GCP IAM, service accounts, custom IAM roles, and Workload Identity Federation
• Solid understanding of GCP networking, including VPC Service Controls and Private Service Connect
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience implementing cloud security policies, IAM governance, and policy-as-code solutions
• Practical knowledge of Google Cloud observability tools, including Cloud Trace, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring
• Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity architectures
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with enterprise Agentic AI platforms or AI infrastructure
• Familiarity with Agent Gateway architectures and agent-based systems
• Experience designing observability solutions for distributed cloud environments
