General Accountant (CPA)

A Hong Kong-based accounting firm is looking for a qualified CPA General Accountant to join their team and support a portfolio of clients remotely. This is a great opportunity for someone who's meticulous, organised, and experienced in full-set accounting especially within an audit or outsourced finance environment. Location: Philippines Work Setup: Fully remote, contractor basis Start Date: ASAP What you'll do: Handle full set of accounts for assigned Hong Kong-based client entities Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules Perform day-to-day accounting operations: AR, AP, bank reconciliations, general ledger Manage month-end and year-end closings for multiple clients Liaise directly with clients and auditors Assist in tax computations, annual returns, and regulatory filings Support audit engagements with working papers and financial data Maintain clean and organised accounting records Contribute to process improvements and uphold high client service standards What we're looking for: CPA qualification is a must 3+ years handling full set of accounts 2+ years external audit experience (Big 4 or mid-tier firms a plus) Strong proficiency in Excel Experience working with international or outsourced clients preferred Strong communication skills and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and remotely
