Open Standard is on a mission to build the world's best money, starting with the US dollar. We believe money should move the way data does: instantly, globally, at any hour, in any amount. Our flagship product, Open USD, is a stablecoin designed for the internet: programmable, global, and built to reward the businesses that champion its adoption. Launched in close partnership with industry leaders like Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, Coinbase, and Shopify, Open Standard already has over 200 top companies in its network. Our lean team is based in San Francisco and New York and is led by Zach Abrams, who co-founded Bridge (acquired by Stripe for $1.1B) and previously led product at Brex, Coinbase, and Square.

The role

Some of our best hires will not fit a job description we have written yet. If you are exceptional at what you do and want to help rebuild money, we want to hear from you, even if none of our open roles matches your background exactly. We read every application and will reach out when there is a fit, now or as the team grows.

We would especially like to hear from people with experience in:

• Payments, banking, and money movement

• Stablecoins, digital assets, and onchain markets

• Capital markets, treasury, and finance

• Engineering and security for financial systems

• Compliance and operations in regulated businesses

• GTM for financial infrastructure

What we look for

• Clear thinking and precise writing. Most decisions here start in writing

• Ownership of outcomes, not just tasks, and examples of what exists because of you

• The ability to learn new domains quickly. Few people arrive expert in payments, crypto, and regulation all at once

• Comfort with both a bank's compliance team and a startup's founders, or the drive to get there

• Willingness to do the unglamorous work when it matters most

• Deep care for getting it right, because the product is money
