Operating at the intersection of functional training and immersive experiences, FitLab brings together high-performance products, community-driven experiences, and premium brands that deepen engagement beyond the workout. The focus going forward is simple. Deliver safe, exceptional events. Improve the underlying economics. Expand into new formats and experiences over time. The role: The General Manager, Events leads the Events division within FitLab, with Ragnar as the primary business today. This leader works closely with the FitLab leadership team to align on priorities, resources, and long-term direction, while driving day-to-day execution across the division. We are looking for someone who can operate at both levels, in the details of event execution and in building a scalable, repeatable model for growth. What you will do: Lead the Events division within FitLab, with Ragnar as the primary business Drive high-quality, consistent execution across all events Improve event-level economics and overall division performance Help shape and execute the strategic roadmap for Events in partnership with the FitLab leadership team Develop new event formats, experiences, and revenue opportunities over time Develop and grow strategic partnerships and sponsorships that elevate the experience and improve event economics Build and lead a high-performing team across corporate and field operations Responsibilities: Set clear priorities, targets, and accountability across the Events division Develop and execute short- and long-term plans aligned with FitLab objectives Oversee all event operations, ensuring safe, consistent, high-quality execution Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Technology Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation Build a strong, accountable, execution-focused culture Use data and reporting to drive continuous improvement Build relationships with partners, vendors, and key stakeholders Structure and scale partnerships and sponsorships that align with the brand and improve event economics Identify risks early and implement solutions to protect execution and outcomes Establish processes and systems that support scalable growth Maintain deep knowledge of the endurance and fitness events landscape Act as the primary leader of Events within FitLab Requirements Proven experience in a senior leadership role with P&L ownership Strong financial acumen across P&L, cash flow, and budgeting Experience developing and executing profitable strategies in events, experiential, or related businesses Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills Experience working across marketing, operations, finance, and related functions Entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational and leadership skills Proven ability to build and lead teams in execution-heavy environments Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skills Physical demands and work environment: As part of the Events team, the physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. You may be asked to work onsite at events as part of your role. When working onsite, there may be physical demands outside routine job functions. These include spending extended periods of time at large outdoor events, the safe operation of utility carts and box trucks, and the use of power and hand tools. Certain event activities may involve transporting equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, working in moderate to loud environments, and utilizing vision across a range of conditions, including close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Not all functions will be required in all situations, and reasonable accommodations will be made where appropriate. Travel Requirements: This role includes travel to events as part of onboarding and ongoing leadership of the Events division. At a minimum, this includes attendance at five events during the first season, across both road and trail formats. Each event may require approximately four days of travel, inclusive of onsite event support. Travel expectations are based on business needs and may evolve over time. Salary Description $175,000-$200,000 per year
