What we are looking for: Forage is looking for an experienced payments leader to lead the company’s in-store partnerships strategy, build relationships with large, strategic grocery partners as well as partners across fintech, hardware, and more. This leader will own the in-store payments P&L for Forage. The in-store line of business is critical to Forage as it builds its portfolio of opportunities to better serve merchants and customers. This role will be responsible for developing a strategy to make Forage a critical part of the in-store payments infrastructure. This leader will also be responsible for bringing in leads, tracking leads, and analyzing business opportunities and identifying new opportunities. It will lead contract negotiations including deal economics. The role will also support the identification and growth of new products, features and verticals for the in-store experience. It will work closely with product, tech, and company leadership, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. Basic Qualifications: 10+ years professional experience within payments and/or POS ecosystems Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Experience in POS, Payments/FinTech, or B2B Experience working with regulated payments at POS such as SNAP, WIC, etc Preferred Education: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Experience and expertise communicating/influencing C-level business decision makers Experience negotiating complex deals Comfort working in ambiguous environments Key Responsibilities: Own the full development and implementation of the Forage in-store strategy — ranging from channel identification to sourcing and evaluation to negotiation and go-to-market execution Identify and prioritize strategic partner opportunities that align with company goals and product roadmap Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to scope and deliver integrations and co-built solutions Serve as the internal voice of the partner—ensuring their needs and potential impact are reflected in roadmaps and decision-making Negotiate commercial and technical terms that align incentives and unlock long-term value Track performance of partnerships and lead joint business reviews to ensure sustained success Stay ahead of trends in fintech, APIs, embedded finance, and the evolving payments stack Own and operate the in-store P&L for Forage Our Offer: This role is Hybrid in New York or San Francisco, we will consider remote within North America on a case-by-case basis. We define hybrid as 2-3 days in office. Your base salary would fall within the bands below. Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.
