Role Description The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary and occupational healthcare services to patients attending the clinic and via telehealth. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre-employment and periodic medical assessments, managing workplace injuries, performing health surveillance, and delivering evidence-based clinical care to a diverse patient population. The role involves interpreting diagnostic results, maintaining accurate medical records, liaising with employers and allied health professionals, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Dianella, WA, with a mix of on-site clinic work and some work-from-home flexibility for telehealth consultations and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage acute and chronic conditions in occupational health settings.
- Experience or interest in Family Medicine and Nursing collaboration to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Capability to provide Training and education to patients, staff, and employers on health, safety, and wellness topics.
- Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with AHPRA as a General Practitioner and completion of recognized GP training.
- Experience in occupational health, workers’ compensation, or industrial medicine is highly regarded.
- Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a hybrid work environment, including telehealth delivery.
- Eligibility to work in Australia and willingness to travel to client sites within Western Australia when required.
