Property Claims Solutions sits at the core of our business, managing a diverse portfolio of property claims ranging from minor incidents to complex losses. As a Technical Adjuster, you will work alongside a team of Adjusters reporting into the Technical Operations Manager. You will provide technical leadership and quality oversight. This is a home-based role with regional travel as required. You will have responsibility for technical oversight, quality control and mentoring within a team of Adjusters in the handling and settling of a mixed caseload of property claims, up to the value of £100K varying in complexity. You will also retain a small caseload while providing technical support and direction to colleagues. In conjunction with other Technical Adjusters, you will identify and contribute to the delivery of training within the team, working alongside learning and development stakeholders across the business. Client relationships will be key, through management and delivery of SLA's and KPI’s, in addition to proactive Client and Broker interaction to assist in efficient claims handling and business development opportunities You’ll also be liaising with colleagues across different business areas, such as Crawford Contractor Connection, Major & Complex Loss, so attention to detail is essential to ensure each step of the claims process is as thorough as possible. Your experience will ensure the identification and removal of process barriers enabling swift and fair resolution of claims issues. Having the ability to investigate root causes, provide informed decisions and take appropriate action will promote efficient and effective claim handling ultimately delivering the best customer outcomes We are seeking experienced professionals who thrive on problem-solving and delivering exceptional customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring:- Essential: Previous experience in loss adjusting or commercial/domestic claims handling Strong technical knowledge within the adjusting and claims environment Extensive knowledge and understanding of FCA/FOS procedures Strong communication skills (verbal/written) Strong IT skills Full UK driving licence Flexibility to travel Desirable: ACII/ACILA qualified or working towards Proven and proficient working knowledge of scoping software and handheld device use Understanding of Client SLA compliance, productivity, and quality requirements Due to the nature of our work, this role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check
