About the Role

We're looking for a Generalist / Commercial Contracts Consultant to join a delivery team supporting an international business operating across sports, gaming, data and technology.

This is a varied role supporting the business across commercial contracts, corporate and M&A matters, intellectual property, compliance, KYC and regulatory projects. You'll work closely with the General Counsel and wider Legal team, supporting matters across European and US operations.

The role would suit an experienced senior paralegal or a qualified lawyer with around 3 years' PQE, with strong commercial contracts experience and an understanding of Irish, UK and US legal frameworks from a contracting perspective.

The engagement is initially for 12 months, fully remote, with flexibility around 30–40 hours per week, 4–5 days per week. Occasional travel may be required.

What You'll Do

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents, providing feedback on contractual terms and conditions.
  • Support commercial transactions, corporate finance and M&A matters.
  • Assist with intellectual property, licensing, employment and compliance matters.
  • Support the implementation of best practices across commercial contracts and wider legal processes.
  • Support global KYC and compliance processes, helping maintain effective procedures and controls.
  • Assist with the day-to-day coordination of KYC and Compliance activities.
  • Support the formation, set-up and ongoing compliance of subsidiaries.
  • Assist with regulatory projects and monitor relevant local regulatory developments.
  • Support SEC filing requirements where needed.
  • Work across legal matters involving European and US operations.
  • Collaborate with the General Counsel and wider Legal team on a range of general legal matters.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business to support commercial and operational priorities.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a senior paralegal with strong commercial contracts experience, or a qualified lawyer with approximately 3 years' PQE.
  • Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • An understanding of Irish, UK and US legal frameworks, particularly from a commercial contracting perspective.
  • Exposure to corporate transactions, M&A, intellectual property, compliance or regulatory matters is desirable.
  • Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise competing demands.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both legal and non-legal teams.
  • A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wider international team.
  • An interest in working within a fast-paced sports, gaming, data and technology business.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

  • Join an international business operating at the intersection of sports, gaming, data and technology.
  • Gain exposure to a broad range of commercial and generalist legal matters.
  • Work across European and US business operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Counsel and wider Legal team.
  • Develop experience across commercial contracts, corporate matters, IP, compliance and regulatory work.
  • Enjoy a fully remote working arrangement with flexibility around working days and hours.
  • Take on a varied 12-month engagement where you can contribute across multiple areas of the business.

We’re a team of builders, operators, and problem-solvers who are passionate about reshaping an industry that has long been resistant to change. If you’re looking for an opportunity to take ownership, broaden your experience and support a dynamic international business across a range of legal workstreams, we’d love to meet you.
