Global Accounts Payable Senior Analyst | 18 month contract


Our client, a global biopharmaceutical company with a significant Dublin presence, is seeking a Global Accounts Payable Senior Analyst to join them on an 18 month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Accounts Payable, you will support a global AP function during a period of transformation, working closely with the in-house team and an offshore outsourced (BPO) provider. This is a hands-on role, fully remote within Ireland.

The Role

  • Support daily global AP operations and act as the key link between the business and the outsourced AP provider
  • Monitor AP workflows and resolve invoice exceptions, blocked invoices, duplicate payments, aged items and supplier queries
  • Support the management of service levels (SLAs) and KPIs
  • Analyse AP data, spot trends and recommend process improvements
  • Partner with Procurement Operations, Treasury and IT to improve the Source to Pay process
  • Maintain AP policies, procedures, process documentation and internal control narratives
  • Support AP transformation and standardisation projects, including training materials and user guides
  • Help resolve AP and Travel & Expense issues and reduce exception backlogs


The Person

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
  • 5 to 8+ years of Accounts Payable, Procure to Pay or shared services experience, ideally supporting global AP in a multinational
  • Experience working with outsourced providers or global service delivery teams
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and confident reporting to stakeholders
  • SAP S/4HANA and Coupa experience an advantage but not essential
  • Pharma, life sciences or regulated industry experience, AP automation, e-invoicing or system implementation exposure all desirable


Salary: €70k plus excellent benefits.

Remote working with 1 day on site every 1-2 weeks
