Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for Global Investors, Venture Capital Funds, Impact Investors, Family Offices, Institutional Capital, and Strategic Capital Partners engaging with AgroNest Ventures Private Limited. The role involves evaluating investment opportunities across AgroNest’s agri-tech solutions and sustainable agriculture initiatives, including precision farming, supply chain innovation, and renewable energy integration. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting due diligence, reviewing financial models and business plans, and collaborating with AgroNest’s leadership team to structure and negotiate investment terms. The role also involves monitoring portfolio performance, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and contributing to long-term value creation and impact measurement. Partners are expected to engage in regular virtual meetings, provide strategic guidance, and help expand AgroNest’s global network and market presence.
Qualifications

• Strong background in venture capital, private equity, impact investing, or institutional investing, with experience in evaluating early-stage or growth-stage companies.
• Knowledge of agriculture, agri-tech, climate-tech, or sustainability-focused sectors, and familiarity with global food systems and supply chains.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, valuation, and modeling, including assessment of unit economics, risk, and long-term return potential.
• Experience in structuring deals, negotiating term sheets, and working with diverse capital instruments (equity, debt, blended finance).
• Ability to assess ESG and impact metrics, and align investments with sustainability, climate resilience, and social impact goals.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote and cross-cultural environment.
• Proven track record of supporting portfolio companies through strategic advice, governance participation, and network introductions.
• Relevant academic background in finance, economics, business, sustainability, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are an advantage.
• Commitment to ethical investing practices and a genuine interest in advancing sustainable agriculture and rural livelihoods.
