What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead a global Platform Engineering function, providing strategic direction across technology operations spanning North America, LATAM and EMEA.
• Oversee a high-performing international engineering organisation, developing leadership capability and driving a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with commercial teams and customers to deliver technology solutions that support business growth and strengthen long-term client relationships.
• Shape and execute the technology roadmap, ensuring platforms remain secure, resilient and scalable.
• Lead major technology transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on AI, automation and digital enablement.
• Drive the successful delivery of complex engineering programmes, including platform consolidation and enterprise integration initiatives.
• Manage technology investment, budgets and vendor relationships to maximise value and commercial performance.
• Champion governance, cybersecurity and operational resilience, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across global business functions to influence technology strategy and enterprise decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency and business performance through technology-led innovation.

Main Skills Needed

• Significant senior leadership experience across Platform Engineering, Technology Services or enterprise IT environments.
• Proven success leading large, geographically dispersed engineering teams through senior leadership structures.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience supporting customer-facing technology services and business growth.
• Track record of delivering enterprise-wide technology transformation, automation and AI initiatives.
• Experience managing large-scale technology programmes, operational delivery and strategic roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, operational resilience and risk management.
• Experience managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets, driving cost optimisation and maximising return on investment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leaders, customers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong vendor management and third-party partnership experience.
• Experience working within complex global matrix organisations.
• Exposure to multinational businesses, global delivery models or customer-led technology organisations would be highly advantageous.
