We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Seed Operations Quality Assurance Leader in Johnston IA. This position drives the global implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) by ensuring quality policies, requirements, work processes, tools and training are implemented and maintained. Analyzes quality system data to drive continuous improvement and ensure the QMS aligns with ISO 9001 requirements.

This is a hybrid role working in-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a Global Seed Operations QMS leader and Process Owner, ensuring consistent implementation of quality policies, procedures, and standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop regional QA Specialists to drive global alignment and capability.
- Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Develop and execute the global QA strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to deploy best practices and strategic priorities.
- Lead global quality incident management, reporting, and escalation processes.
- Coordinate regional and global Management System Reviews and drive corrective actions.
- Lead QA capital planning and prioritize investments based on business needs and risk.
- Provide governance and direction for quality management systems and tools.
- Ensure quality systems support product launches, accreditation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer, operational, and quality objectives.
- Coordinate global internal and external audit planning, execution, and auditor development with the Global Stewardship function.
- Maintain ownership of assigned Record Retention categories and related compliance requirements.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Agricultural Sciences, Business/Business Management, Seed science, or a related discipline
What Skills You Need:
- Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems, risk management, process management, auditing principles, and continuous improvement
- Experience and proven proficiency in computer systems and programs including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and tend to pick up quickly on new software.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail who knows how to prioritize work and has excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to travel abroad
- Ability to translate strategy into execution
