About the Role
LLPA is a global association of leading learning and training providers, connecting an international member network with organizations seeking high-quality training, skilling and workforce development solutions across multiple geographies.
As LLPA continues to expand its global reach, we are looking for an experienced Global Sales Lead to develop and grow strategic relationships with enterprise customers.
This role will take ownership of identifying, developing and closing complex, multi-country business opportunities, while leveraging the capabilities of LLPA's international member network to address customer needs at scale.
You will work directly with enterprise decision-makers, LLPA leadership and member organizations to identify opportunities, develop commercially compelling solutions and lead opportunities from initial engagement through to contract.
This is a hands-on commercial leadership role offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of LLPA's global sales approach.
Your Mission
Develop strategic enterprise relationships and turn global customer needs into scalable commercial opportunities for LLPA and its member network.
What You Will Own
1. Global Enterprise Business Development
- Identify and prioritize prospective global enterprise accounts
- Lead outreach, qualification, discovery and commercial discussions
- Develop customer proposals and solutions in collaboration with LLPA members
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities through to signed contract
- Position LLPA and its member network as a coordinated global training and enablement partner
- Develop scalable opportunities that leverage relevant capabilities across the LLPA network
Success in this area means building a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities and converting them into sustainable customer relationships.
2. Strategic Account Expansion
- Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships across regions, business units and service areas
- Work collaboratively with LLPA members to identify and develop multi-country opportunities
- Coordinate virtual account teams across the LLPA member network
- Facilitate effective collaboration between participating members
- Serve as a key commercial point of contact for strategic global customers
- Identify opportunities that create value for both LLPA and participating members
Your goal will be to connect customer needs with the capabilities of LLPA's international network and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
3. Sales Process & Commercial Development
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a structured global sales approach
- Establish effective opportunity qualification and deal-management practices
- Maintain a clear and accurate customer opportunity pipeline
- Provide regular pipeline, forecast and commercial reporting to LLPA leadership
- Support effective commercial approaches for complex, multi-member opportunities
- Contribute to scalable ways of working for global enterprise opportunities
This role requires someone who is comfortable working with autonomy and contributing to the development of scalable commercial practices.
4. Strategic Account Development
- Build long-term account plans for strategic customers
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships across LLPA member capabilities
- Develop trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders
- Represent LLPA in customer executive meetings and relevant industry engagements
- Capture and communicate market and customer insights across the organization
- Identify emerging customer needs and translate them into new commercial opportunities
5. Cross-Functional & Member Collaboration
- Work closely with the CEO, Business Development, Regional Leads, Marketing and the LLPA member network
- Lead cross-organizational collaboration for complex customer opportunities
- Coordinate contributions from multiple stakeholders across regions and organizations
- Facilitate effective collaboration across the LLPA international ecosystem
- Support the successful transition of commercial opportunities into delivery
Success in this role depends on the ability to bring together independent stakeholders around shared customer opportunities.
What You Bring - Required Experience
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder B2B deals, ideally within training, learning and development, professional services or technology
- Demonstrated experience selling to global enterprise accounts across multiple geographies and decision-making groups
- Strong new-business development capabilities, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, proposal development, negotiation and closing
- Experience developing and expanding strategic customer accounts
- Ability to build and lead virtual and cross-organizational teams without direct reporting authority
- Strong commercial capabilities, including pipeline management, forecasting and deal structuring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong executive stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-autonomy environment and contribute to developing scalable commercial practices
Preferred Experience
- Experience within the IT training, digital skills, learning or professional development market
- Established relationships within global L&D, HR, procurement or enterprise learning functions
- Familiarity with major technology ecosystems such as Microsoft, AWS, Google or similar
- Experience working with partner, alliance or network-based commercial models
- Experience building or scaling a sales function within a growing organization
- Experience coordinating complex opportunities involving multiple delivery partners or countries
