Job Description Summary The Wind Services Global Lean Leader will shape and lead the Lean roadmap across the global Wind Services organization. The role will partner across Field Operations, Fleet Performance Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning & Scheduling, and Digital & Automation to standardize operating practices, strengthen management systems, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, reliability, and productivity. This leader will translate strategy into a practical operating system for a complex, distributed service network, establish the leadership cadence required to sustain results, and guide cross-functional teams through difficult short- and long-term trade-offs. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Lead the global Wind Services Lean roadmap and portfolio, aligning strategic objectives , operational priorities, and business outcomes. Define and deploy a "Standard Site" operating model for GE Vernova wind sites, enabling consistent ways of working across a broad global site network. Establish and sustain Lean operating mechanisms, including Hoshin Kanri , Daily Management, Leader Standard Work, Visual Management, KPI Governance, structured problem solving, Kaizen, and continuous improvement. Drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, fleet availability, productivity, reliability, problem-resolution speed, repeat-failure reduction, and forced-outage reduction. Identify, prioritize, and eliminate systemic drivers of operational loss through cross-functional accountability and structured problem solving. Establish a clear management cadence that creates visibility, ownership, follow-through, and sustained results. Guide enterprise-level problem solving and make informed trade-offs between short-term operating needs and long-term maintenance, repair, and reliability strategies. Partner across Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, Projects, Services, Quality, Supply Chain, Digital, and regional operations to integrate Lean into business execution. Develop Lean capability across leaders and teams through coaching, standard work, hands-on application, and repeatable learning mechanisms. Use data and operational insights to prioritize the highest-value opportunities, measure progress, and communicate outcomes to senior leadership. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience leading global operations, services or Lean transformation at scale in an industrial business. Comprehensive understanding of how the wind industry operates and how Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, Projects and Services integrate. Strong technical competence in wind turbine design and function. Proven record of delivering large, multi-year cost and productivity commitments. For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $232,000 and $348,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
