WD is building the infrastructure behind the AI-driven data economy. As AI scales, so does data. Every interaction, every model, every system generates data that must be stored, managed, and made accessible over time. That’s where we come in. We combine deep engineering expertise with global-scale manufacturing to deliver the storage systems that make AI possible, powering hyperscale data centers, cloud platforms, and enterprise infrastructure worldwide. This isn’t theoretical work. It’s real systems, at real scale, people solving some of the hardest challenges in technology today. We’re looking for people who want to build, solve, and operate at that level. Join us and let’s shape the future of data. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and independently execute assigned global trade and ERP‑related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations. Define and document project scope, deliverables, requirements, tasks, and timelines aligned with Global Trade and enterprise objectives. Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into detailed process flows, functional specifications, and system designs for Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM), Customs Management, and related ERP platforms. Proactively track milestones, identify risks or dependencies, and communicate issues, recommendations, and status updates to Global Trade Operations leadership. Serve as a key liaison between Global Trade, IT, and external partners during system configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation stabilization. Analyze import/export transactions and large data sets to identify compliance gaps, root causes, automation opportunities, and process efficiencies. Lead or coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities for trade compliance processes, including screening, tariff classification, and trade documentation reviews. Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and process documentation; deliver or support end‑user training and change management activities. Prepare and present operational performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical insights to support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide subject‑matter guidance to junior analysts and cross‑train team members as needed. Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and other advanced trade compliance activities as assigned. REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) are required. Minimum 6+ years of substantive experience in global trade compliance, import/export operations, ERP systems, or project-based roles. Advanced working knowledge of global logistics operations, customs regulations, and trade compliance requirements. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, communicate with precision, and present to senior leadership. Rigorous attention to detail with demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis capabilities. Self-directed, proactive, and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Demonstrated proficiency in cross-functional collaboration and mentoring of less-experienced team members. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools, including Excel, Power BI, Visio, Smartsheet, JIRA, or equivalent platforms. Capability to write SQL queries and develop or maintain macros to support analytics and reporting is required. PREFERRED: Advanced working knowledge of INCOTERMS and global customs and trade compliance requirements is essential. Comprehensive understanding of import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). Direct, substantive experience with Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) or comparable Global Trade Management systems is required. Practical experience working in Agile or hybrid project management environments. Advanced analytical capabilities with demonstrated accuracy when handling complex transactional and compliance-related data. #LI-JS2 WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity. As a global company, we believe the most effective way to embrace the diversity of our customers and communities is to mirror it from within. We believe the fusion of various perspectives results in the best outcomes for our employees, our company, our customers, and the world around us.
