Description
WW Labs (as part of Wise Wolves Group) is the engineering division of a financial group. We build products for investment and banking: client personal accounts, backend services, integrations with brokerage and payment systems, and KYC/AML processes. We work in a small cross-functional team (PO, DevOps, QA, designer, backend and frontend engineers), where every engineer has direct influence on architecture and product decisions.

We work in a small cross-functional team (PO, DevOps, QA, designer, backend and frontend engineers), where every engineer has direct influence on architecture and product decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve backend services in Go (microservices, BFF for mobile and web clients)
- Design and implement integrations with external financial APIs (brokerage platforms, payment providers, market data providers, custodial services)
- Work with event-driven architecture using Kafka and the ClickHouse analytics data warehouse
- Participate in design discussions: contribute to architectural decisions, write technical design docs, conduct code reviews
- Ensure service reliability and observability: metrics, logs, alerts, and participation in incident post-mortems
- Work with financial data security: authentication, anti-fraud mechanisms, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience developing in Go
- Solid knowledge of the standard library, concurrency (goroutines, channels, context), and working with gRPC/REST
- Experience with PostgreSQL (or another relational database), with an understanding of transactions and data consistency
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka or similar)
- Understanding of distributed systems principles: idempotency, retries, failure handling
- Developer-level experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- A habit of writing tests and working through code review
- English and Russian working languages;
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech: brokerage, payments, banking, KYC/AML
- Experience with ClickHouse
- Familiarity with AWS (EKS, RDS, DynamoDB), GitLab CI, ArgoCD
- Experience integrating with financial APIs (Bloomberg/Refinitiv, brokerage APIs, Fireblocks, etc.)
- Experience with observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics/VictoriaLogs)
- Fully remote work
