We are currently searching for a Senior ServiceNow Developer: The Challenge (Responsibilities) Initialize local applications, transform metadata, and deploy scoped applications from a local IDE (e.g., VS Code). Define application metadata in code using ServiceNow Fluent, server-side JavaScript modules, and third-party libraries. Execute incident management, problem management, change management, knowledge management, service catalog, and service level management (SLM) workflows. Develop custom scoped applications and build web-based tools utilizing Java, J2EE, Servlet, JSP, XML, AJAX, SQL, jQuery, and JavaScript. Work extensively with REST APIs to coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues. Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets. Obtain, analyze, and interpret business requirements to propose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow, answering complex "how-to" configuration questions for senior stakeholders. Create and maintain comprehensive system design and operations documentation. Your Profile (Requirements) 8+ years of proven experience in ServiceNow platform development and implementation. Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow SDK (NOW SDK). Deep understanding of core platform features, flow designer, ACLs, server-side APIs, and client-side APIs. Strong knowledge of ATF (Automated Test Framework), reports, dashboards, import sets, transformations, update sets, system clones, and upgrades. Exceptional problem-analysis skills, including the use of mathematical concepts to validate results. Strong analytical ability to collect, organize, disseminate, and present significant amounts of information with high attention to detail. Clear and concise communication with superior written and verbal skills to articulate technical aspects to senior stakeholders. Ability to manage and prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision in a global team environment. High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery. Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering." Desired Experience leveraging Now Assist for Creator (or similar generative AI developer tools) to optimize development efficiency, code generation, and workflow automation. Solid understanding of ITSM and CSM modules, Event Management, Integrations, and Orchestration. A fair understanding of MID Server Configuration, CMDB, discovery, and asset management. Strong knowledge and experience with debugging and troubleshooting mechanisms in ServiceNow. Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
