Job Description The Graduate Assistant will support the Development team by conducting donor landscape research and analysis to help identify potential funding opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Researching prospective donors, reviewing donor databases, preparing donor profiles, collecting and organizing data, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Creating donor maps, charts, and reports; identifying fundraising trends, gaps, and opportunities; developing reporting templates and process documentation; and supporting donor communications and proposals. Work collaboratively with the Development team May present findings and recommendations to senior management or other stakeholders. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a college or university offering a four-year degree. Completion of freshman year or higher and in good academic standing. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Currently enrolled in a graduate program, such as public administration, nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field Strong research and analytical skills Proficiency with data collection and management tools, such as Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to The Carter Center on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines. All non-exempt employees must reside within the state of Georgia.
